Port Aransas Sand Pumpkin Patch 2013

Celebrate Halloween on the beach near Ave. G. Bring the whole family or come alone to carve your very own pumpkin head out of sand. The ?pumpkin patch? will have a sculpture created by master sculptors with vines coming out of it. The vines will have pumpkin heads created from the sand for kids of ALL ages to carve any way they choose.

Experts and volunteers will be on hand to help led by expert sandsculptor Mark Landrum of sandrum.com & Community Program Coordinator Pam Greene. This is a FREE event, and everyone is welcome!

Even though Parks & Rec had to limit events due to the devastation of Hurricane Harvey, we still are having events on this Saturday.

Trunk or Treat: Get into the FALL-O-WEEN spirit, and join us for a fun filled family fright night at Roberts Point Park Saturday, Oct. 28, 6-8pm. Port A residents register with Parks & Rec (forms available here or City Hall), decorate a vehicle, then be there for kids to trick or treat around the loop. Event also includes free games with prizes, kids costume contests for ages 0-12! Vehicles compete for prizes: Most Booootiful, Most Spooktacular, Most Ghostly.

Fall-O-Ween Events
Interval Training:

High Intensity Interval Training is offered by Parks and Recreation at 6:30am on Mondays, Wednesday and Fridays.

Beginner-Moderate Interval Training, a less intense workout is held Mondays & Wednesdays at 5:15pm.

Weight Training is held Tuesdays & Thursdays at 5:30pm in the Port Aransas High School weight room. Shape & tone at this clas

All are with Personal Trainer Karen Decker, for men & women in any physical shape with certified trainer Karen Decker at 361-903-0901. $3 drop in class or $30 for 15 classes. Check [make out to COPA] or cash.
Interval Training classes are held upstairs in the 2nd floor foyer of Port Aransas High School, 100 S. Station St.

Yoga on the beach
Second Saturdays, 8am

Free yoga class instruction by Nancy Myers at Horace Caldwell Pier, at the end of Beach Street. Bring mat or towel suitable for use on the beach. Held the second Saturday of each month.
