RECYCLING (For Residential Only) Recycling pick-up is on Mondays. This is a "FREE" service offered by Allied Waste. You may call 361-749-4111 to inquire about a container. Allied does not recycle the following: *Glass, light bulbs, plate glass, auto glass, tempered glass, mirrors, ceramics. *Corrigated Cardboard * Scrap metal, paint cans, aerosol cans, aluminum foil, disposable aluminum plates, pie tins. *No plastic wrap, or plastic bottles that are used for detergent, bleach, fabric softner, cooking oil, motor oil or anti-freeze. Allied will pick-up: Newspaper, magazines, junk mail, flat cardboard, aluminum cans, plastic milk jugs and soft drink bottles. On recycling day please have your container curbside by 7:00am. Recycle will not pick-up wet newspapers. |
