WATER AEROBIC CLASSES

Water aerobic classes are held each week Tuesdays through Fridays.
They start at noon and run an hour long, at Community Park Swimming Pool [700 Clark Pkwy, off Ross Ave]. This exercising is held in the 4-foot section of the pool, is judgement-free with everyone doing as they are able. Can be as easy or intense as you wish.
Cost is $2 per person, and is open to all.

DEEP WATER AEROBICS

Deep water aerobic classes are held each week on Tuesdays through Fridays.
They start at 11am, at Community Park Swimming Pool [700 Clark Pkwy, off Ross Ave]. It involves aerobic exercising with belts on to keep you afloat in the deep end of pool. Barbells and water buoys are used.
Cost is $2 per person, and is open to all.

TOTAL BODY AQUACIZE

Tuesdays through Fridays at 7:30 am & at noon on Saturday.
AAAI trained Water Aerobics in-structor Sally Jo Bartlett leads a workout to upbeat music with different body areas of focus each day. Strengthen all major muscle groups. Cost is $2 per person, and is open to all.

The second Come Sail Basic class session will be held Tuesday through Thursday, June 20-23, 10-11am. (Be there by 9:45am)
All training is done in the Community Pool. Kids 10 & older or adults may take the classes. Cost is $15 per person.

Group Lessons

Class Times for 3 - 10 years old are 9:40 am and 10:30 am Tuesday through Friday for 2 weeks.

Session 1: June 6-16
Registration for residents: Tuesday through Friday while pool is open starting Tuesday, May 23. Cost is $8.
Registration for non-residents: Tuesday through Friday while pool is open starting Tuesday, May 30. Cost is $25.

Session 2: July 11-21
Registration for residents: Tuesday through Friday while pool is open starting June 27.
Registration for non-residents: Tuesday through Friday while pool is open starting July 4.

Group Lesson Fee
Port Aransas Resident: $8, Non-Resident: $25

Registration with full payment (space permitting) may be presented at the Community Pool, 700 Clark Parkway beginning as noted above




Sunday, June 18 - Dads Swim Free


Dads can swim at no charge to celebrate Father's Day 1-6pm, at the Community Pool.

Survival Swimming

A unique one-on-one program for children 6 months - 6 years of age held at the Port Aransas Community Pool, 700 Clark Parkway in Port Aransas.
Survival Swim Foundation program is on average 6-7 weeks, 4 days a week, 15 minute lessons each day.
Swim 2 Survive Aquatics Academy is partnering with the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department to bring this life saving program to Port Aransas and its surrounding communities. Lessons will be offered Tuesday-Friday, 9am - 1pm, April 18 through summer 2017.
Accidents happen and drowning is preventable. Swim Float Survive? lessons are the best way to teach a baby, toddler, and or a young child to rescue himself/herself in an aquatic emergency.
