The Office of the City Secretary is staffed by the City Secretary and the Deputy City Secretary. They provide citizens with information on formal actions of the City Council, meeting dates and times; public information requests; election information; ordinances, charter, contracts, deeds, and other official City documents.
In addition to the overall mission of maintaining the official records of the City of Port Aransas, the City Secretary serves as Human Resource Director and the Deputy City Secretary serves as Assistant Emergency Management Coordinator.
Their responsibility also entails the processing of many types of licenses, bonds and insurance claims against the City.
