NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Port Aransas, Texas is soliciting bids from qualified companies and individuals to repair and perform surface preparation to its aviation fuel tank exterior via SSPC-SP10, application of two coats of Carboline Carbomastic 15 at three to five mils DFT minimum per coat, application of one coat of Carboline Carbothane 134 HG at two to three mils DFT minimum. Cleaning services to the avgas tank must be performed prior to the work. The tank must be emptied of fuel for preventing risk of explosion. Fuel storage and fuel waste disposal may be required for performance of the repair at the expense of the contractor. Project also shall include providing a new canopy and galvanized steel posts to replace the older components on site, and any additional work required to complete installation.

The Powerheart* G5 shall be in new working condition. Fully automatic with ICPR/ dual language. AED shall come with an 8-year Manufacturer’s device warranty. The Lithium battery shall include a 4-year warranty. Also included in the bid shall be 50 AED ready/rescue kits. Kits typically consist of CPR mask, Protective gloves, Emergency scissors, prep razor, and Disinfect wipes.

Equix Energy Services will be working with the City of Port Aransas and FEMA to do a complete rebuild of the city’s existing gas distribution system. Equix will be digging, trenching, and directional drilling approximately 55 miles of HDPE installation and underground abandonment of the existing system, 2 pressure reducing stations, and over 1500 services throughout the city.
